What data do we collect?

GIDiMA collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, location as mandatory for registering as user and member, age as optional).
  • Personal interests (fields of interest and interest on joining the association). Providing this is optional.
  • Professional information (sector activity relation,
  • Company identification information (Name of the company or organisation, legal registry, email address, phone number) for Corporate members.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide GIDiMA with all the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

How will we use your data?

GIDiMA collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your request for membership and manage your account.
  • Email you with information on our regular activities, members or other external sources of information which agreed to have their content published on our website and services we think you might like.

If you agree, GIDiMA will share your data with our members so that they may offer you products and services only addressed to members.

When GIDiMA processes your request for membership payments or your request for services, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

GIDiMA securely stores your data at the server of the hosting provider in Luxembourg.

GIDiMA will keep your personal information data for the time you are registered as member. Once this time period has expired, we will delete all your personal data from our database as well as in any independent files held by GIDiMA .

Marketing

GIDiMA would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our member corporate and partner companies.

If you have agreed to receive marketing communications, you may opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop GIDiMA from contacting you for marketing purposes.
